In order to begin the application process, your PC must be tested by the Convergys PC Test Tool. This tool is delivered to your PC as an ActiveX control. If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista, look for an information bar at the top of this page containing a message about the Convergys PC Test Tool. Click this bar and select "Install ActiveX Control."
The most common causes for reaching this screen are listed below:
Insufficient user privileges on your PC: Windows XP and Vista require a user to have Administrator privileges in order to install software, including ActiveX controls.
Internet Explorer security settings: Your browser security settings may be set to deny ActiveX controls. Restoring your security settings to the default settings will request confirmation prior to installing ActiveX controls.
Attempting to test your PC before allowing the ActiveX control to install: Prior to attempting the PC test, ensure that you have allowed the ActiveX control and installed the Convergys PC Test Tool before continuing with the application process.

You have reached this page because the Convergys PC Test Tool cannot communicate with your PC. The most common cause of this problem is running Internet Explorer with Protected Mode on. Protected Mode is a new feature of Internet Explorer running on Windows Vista that limits the access that a web site has to the computer visiting that site. Internet Explorer enables protected mode for any website not in your Trusted sites list.
Completing the steps listed below will add www.convergysworkathome.com to your trusted sites list. After completing these steps, please continue with the application process.
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, followed by Internet Options. This will open the Internet Options dialog.
Select the Security tab. This page will display the different zones defined on your computer.
Choose the Trusted sites zone and click the Sites button. This step will open a new dialog box containing a list of your trusted sites. This website will appear in the box labelled "Add this site to the zone."
If it is selected, uncheck the box next to "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone." If this option is enabled, you will not be able to add www.convergysworkathome.com to your Trusted sites list.
Click the Add button to add www.convergysworkathome.com to the websites list.
Close the Trusted sites dialog box and the Internet Options dialog box. After completing these steps, follow any additional instructions presented by Internet Explorer.
